An action packed day driving along the coastline of Maharashtra towards Gujarat identifying locations to fly my kite. Although my favourite place to Kitesurf in India is the east coast where I now live with my puppies & students. Rameshwaram has pristine blue waters since it is located in the Gulf of Mannar marine national park. The beaches are secluded and it could easily be the windiest place in India.

Driving in and around the outskirts of Mumbai city is a different ballgame compared to Rameshwaram where I drive a pickup truck. My pickup would not survive Mumbai's traffic & would find it hard turning on the meandering coastal road. So here I decided to try something more comfortable, agile but still with enough room to carry equipment...
